Next Store, Longwater, Norwich

The project comprised construction of new Home and Garden Store for Next situated on the outskirts of Norwich, near Longwater Retail Park.

This next-generation store provides the shopper with everything under one roof.  The 6,663m² floor area includes a Costa Coffee, a lighting department, lingerie boutique, rug shop, in addition to the core retail offer.

CDG provided full architectural and engineering design services working in collaboration with the Next Retail Ltd fit-out design team.  The main building area included a significant mezzanine floor area within the main steel framed structure with an adjoining conservatory structure and external enclosed Garden Centre Plantaria. The design was delivered using a BIM Level 2 environment.

The works commenced in September 2014 with handover in August 2015.
