Working nationally with our R G Carter Construction businesses, we draw upon extensive in-house Group specialist expertise to provide fully coordinated design solutions that offer best value to our clients. Our work spans all construction sectors, with our multi-disciplinary team able to deliver a truly cohesive ‘design lead’ service through early contractor engagement, to de-risk projects from the ground up. In addition to traditional design services, we provide design peer reviews, specialist investigations and testing, site technical support, and materials engineering. Working with consultant design partners we can be a catalyst to successful, efficient project delivery.
As experienced ‘Contractors Designers’ we have the necessary level of design and construction knowledge, to interrogate and coordinate design input and consequential design output. Every project is different, and it is vitally important that potential issues, technical or otherwise, are identified and resolved at an early stage. Our team understands this and will on your behalf ensure the design is developed and coordinated to achieve a technically compliant, cost-effective project.

CONCEPT DESIGN – FEASIBILITY & PLANNING
We are able to assist in the initial production of conceptual design information, either traditional pencil sketch or 2D and 3D visualisation.
In addition we undertake and co-ordinate all aspects of Site Feasibility and Planning works, including, pre-development assessments, desk top studies, ground and services investigations along with the production of Planning Statements, Masterplans, Drainage Strategies and Flood Risk Assessments.
We are able to offer advice and support at pre-planning stages to help ensure that best value solutions are put forward to the relevant authorities at this critical project milestone.

The application of BIM on projects provides a collaborative environment in which all aspects of project delivery can be enhanced through the management of an information model.
Within our management system, we have integrated BIM processes and procedures which have been certified by BSI in compliance with current BIM Level 2 Standards. With our BIM trained staff and core team of specialists, our clients can be confident that each project can take full advantage of all aspects of BIM delivery.
